Quote: “Don't worry about what other people think. Hold your head up high and plunge forward.” --- Izuki Midoriya
Dalton Hooper is currently in his final year at UGA, majoring in Trombone Performance and Music Education. He is a member of the UGA Trombone Choir as well as the Athens Short Bones Quartet...founded in the Winter of 2020. He currently shares co-principal duties in the Hodgson Wind Ensemble, and has also held principal positions in the UGA Symphony Orchestra and Wind Symphony, Jazz Band I & II, as well as the University Chorus. The variety of ensemble experience is what challenges him him musically and intellectually.
His goal is to perform in an orchestra and instruct students in private lessons of all ages with what he learns during his education degree track. He wants to be able to deliver proper advice and instruction to individual students tailored to their needs depending on their personality, abilities, and desire.
