Tylan Davis is a third year Music Education Major, and is currently the co-principal trombonist of the Wind Symphony.

Since starting at the University of Georgia he has performed in Redcoat Band, Trombone Choir, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band II, and University Chorus. His quartet (The Athens Short Bones Quartet) has given several performances on and off campus, and are committed to community and educational outreach.

Tylan has been named to the Dean's List for multiple semesters, and is a brother of the Epsilon Lambda chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Tylan chose to attend the University of Georgia for Music Education because of the vast opportunities the school provides for growth, performing, teaching, and professional help. His best music moment is playing the Star Spangled Banner with the Trombone Choir before the UGA Vs. Notre Dame game.
